Football League Accidentally Leak New Leeds United Away Kit

Leeds fans may have taken to chanting about Football League corruption in the wake of Massimo Cellino’s protracted takeover of the club, but they seemingly now have the organisation to thank for a sneak preview of their new away shirt for next season. The Football League have since deleted the image from their site.

Enterprising Twitter user @lardywhite noticed the mistake on the website, showing a brand new navy shirt alongside Leeds’s recently announced all-white home kit.

The club are expected to announce the shirt in the near future, having repeatedly teased a campaign based around Leeds’s famous away days.

This years shirt seemingly features a navy design, with white stripes across the shirt.

Communication from the club itself picked up again yesterday, with Cellino and son Edoardo both speaking to Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post. The elder Cellino confirmed to the journalist that the club had completed a loan deal for Federico Viviani of AS Roma, before also denying any interest from the club in Bologna’s Robert Acquafresca.

Elsewhere, AC Milan’s Zan Benedicic has also declared his interest in a move to the Whites.
