Chelsea Keen To Sell £17 Million Star, With Premier League Destination Guaranteed

Chelsea are refusing to move Romelu Lukaku out on loan again, according to the Belgian international’s agent’s assistant, and the talented striker is keen to remain in the Premier League, as reported by Inside Futbol.

Everton are reportedly interested in bringing Lukaku back to their club, having had him on loan last season, during which time he scored 15 goals in 31 games. He spent the season before with West Brom, when he scored 17 goals in 35 matches.

Lukaku has repeatedly said he is keen to play regularly next season, and would be happy to leave Chelsea on a permanent basis if they can’t offer first team football to him.

Last season’s winners of the Scudetto in Italy have been repeatedly linked to Lukaku, while Arsenal and Liverpool have also been suggested as potential destinations in the Premier League.

It is the supposed interest from Juventus that Oscar Damiani Junior, who works for Lukaku’s agent Christophe Henrotay, was responding to, when he spoke to Calcio Mercato.

Junior said: “Chelsea [will] sell him outright. Juve were informed but, again, at present there is no chance for [Italian] clubs. It is really a shame not to sign him, because he is a great player.

“Will he stay in the Premier League? I believe so.”
