Arsenal and Liverpool target Antoine Griezmann is reportedly set to join Atletico Madrid, who won La Liga last season, according to Spanish newspaper AS.

Talks between the two clubs have reached an advanced position, and word is that an agreement could be reached before long. Griezmann is so confident of a move away from Real Sociedad that he has removed the club from his Twitter profile, but the Basque club are refusing to sell him for any less than his €30 million release clause.

Both Premier League sides have been reportedly tracking the winger for the entire summer, but are now set to lose out on him to the side that reached last season’s Champions League final.

Atletico have lost both Diego Costa and David Villa this summer, and Griezmann would complement new signing Mario Mandzukic perfectly.

Mauricio Pochetinno’s Spurs have also made a bid for the wing wizard, but it now seems as though the French international is set to stay in Spain next season.
